With our 2 y/o... he carries her everywhere, let’s her sit on his lap during dinner, holds her hand or spoons her until she goes to sleep. She wakes up 4 or 5 times a night and one of us has to go in and hold her hand until she gets back to sleep. I keep telling him he has to stop because she expects it from everyone now and it’s only going to make my life harder when the new baby comes (and my husband works away from home seasonally so I’m on my own with new baby!).

He says she’s only this little once and he’s not going to give up being loving with her while she’ll let him. He acts like I’m personally attacking him any time I say anything about boundaries with her. Quite frankly I’ve grown to hate him and I don’t know how to fix it.
