To Shave or Not to Shave?

So to shave or not to shave your lady bits for labor? It’s nearly impossible for me to do it now and I’ve actually heard it’s better to not shave! Still on the fence about this....

It’s recommended not to shave after 36 weeks because it increases the risk of infection.

I would recommend trimming. It'll make it easier to keep clean post-partum.

I’m shaving. I get uncomfortable if I don’t so I regularly do it. Too scared to wax.

I shaved very early on in my pregnancy and now I just maintain by shaving every time I shower. It’s so much easier to do that than letting it grow and trying to shave a full bush lol. If I’m going to be bleeding a lot post partum, the last thing I want is a bunch of hair. I never feel like I can get clean enough and it’s uncomfortable for me.

Im not shaving, I get waxed. 
I couldn't tell you the last time I've shaved. I've been getting waxed since 2011ish. Never going back to shaving.

I’ll have hubby trim me up week before but was told not to do that before due to increase risk for infection.

I shave for postpartum purposes, not necessarily for labor, and I just use a beard trimmer I took from my husband, less chance of cuts and easier/faster.

Ill *attempt* to shave again. With all the gross things that happen down there after birth it’s easier to clean with less hair. It’s already a hack job since I’m way bigger this time around
