Saline Infused Ultrasound?

Has anyone had a saline infused ultrasound? What should I expect? Is it much different from a vaginal ultrasound?

I had one a month ago and it was completely painless. I loaded up on advil because I was worried so I'm sure that helped not feel anything. But it was very quick and the actual amount of saline they inject is minimal so barely anything came out after. Tubes were both clear.

I had one couple of months ago. I was nervous as I had never had one before. I was surprised by how fast the procedure was. They use the same tool as the one they use during a pap, and then will conduct an internal ultrasound with the wand to check your ovaries, etc. The doctor will then inject the fluid which is very quick...and wet. They should provide you with big ol' pads after as it takes a bit to drain out. 
Depending on your comfort level, looking back I wish I had of asked my husbad to sit with me as it probably would have calmed my nerves more. Overall, it's not so bad.
