Was David Eason wrong?

Ok my crazy dog glow people. I don’t know this guy never heard of him but google tells me he Is on the teen mom series. He is apparently open about being a big gun lover and he recently shot and killed their family dog for biting their young child in the face. Tell me your thoughts. Was he wrong? Was he in the right?

So no one comes at me haha. He’s bat shit crazy in my opinion. I have a chihuahua who has bit my son in the face. She and he learned real quick how to never let that happen again and it was my fault it happened in the first place.
