Emotionally sensitive toddler?

My LO got her 2yr old shots 2 days and she's still traumatized by it.  She's now terrified of her crib and bathtub for no other apparent reason other than she's thinking about getting shots. She keeps saying "no more shots" and 'I got scared'. Anyone else have an emotionally sensitive LO? How do you cope? How do you help them?

My daughter was super traumatized by her shots at that age. It was awful. I had to go through and explain the whole thing to her about what a shot is what it’s made of why she gets it when she’ll get more how many sleeps until then the whole nine yards lol. Then she calmed down. Just explain that she only gets shots on certain occasions. She shouldn’t be getting more until 4 or her flu shot unless you’re on a different schedule
