Birth control problems

It’s been a week since I started the pill and now I have acne, I want to just stop taking it all together. I’ve never ever had acne before in my life. I’ve only had pimples here and there, mostly around the time my period was coming. I feel terrible and I’m so over this. Should I just stop taking it? i’ve looked up reviews on the pill I got and everyone says they’ve had bad experiences with it and I’m scared the things I’m struggling with are going to be permanent 😭
