Tamp or pad?

I am 12 and prefer tampons over pads. I like that I never have the chance of leakage with tampons. And I hate how pads feel weird and you’re literally just walking around in your blood till you change it. Is it bad I prefer tampons at my age???

No use what you like but you can leak with a tampon if not changed often.

If you ever do need a pad for overnight, or light liner for tampon backup, you might consider cloth pads. They are sooo much more comfortable than regular disposables, and stay more dry if you get the right kind. 
Etsy has good ones made of fleece with waterproof backing. I discovered them last year and really wish I had them from the beginning at your age!

Not weird at all - I’ve used tampons since my second period (at 10) and never looked back.  Heads up though - you can leak so be sure to change tampons regularly (also to prevent toxic shock syndrome) and pay attention to your body.  Your period will probably change over the years and may become heavier, so panty liners help a lot there (like a pad, but so thin they’re not nearly as uncomfortable).
