Moms, am I being over dramatic about this situation??

I am a FTM, never been through labor. My husband and I were having a conversation about nurses and he said "theres always that one nurse that looks at the man and says You wouldn't be able to handle this"

And he said that he looks back at the nurse and says "you women cant handle it either"

And I took extreme offense to that, he tried to say that we "go through it" but we dont "handle it"

He says that they are 2 completely different things and handling it would be just having the baby without flinching and we go through it because we dont have a choice......I explained to him that not every women is the same and some women actually dont flinch, and even of they do...they still Handle what they have to handle. And he said "okay you'll be going through it soon so let's see how you "handle it" I took extreme offense

Am I tripping?
