So we were scheduled to get induced. We went in around 11pm and i got my IV and took half a pill to start contractions. I was having light contractions ever 5 minutes and the next morning at 8pm my doctor broke my water at 3cm. As soon as he broke it i started having strong contractions and they started me at a level 2 of pitocin. I asked for the IV medication and i was having insane contractions. They gave me an epidural an hour later. Every thing was grear then the medication started to wear of 8 hours later. I hadnt progressed passed 5cm in 6 hours so my DR decided c-section. My contractions were off the monitor and were a minute apart for the next 4 hours. My nurse turned off the pitocin and cause my babys heart and oxygen dropped dramatically due to how hard my contractions were and my doctor made he turn it back on and to turn up the dose. She didnt listen thank god and admitted to me that he was one of those doctors that leaned toward c-sections. I ended up having to be put to sleep cause my spinal tap and epidural completely failed. I feel like i was robbed of my chance to push and be awake for my babys birth. What do yall think?
