Anyone’s significant other ... snore?

Question

So my fiancé’s snoring is HORRIFIC. He has sleep apnea and gasps frequently. He says he knows he needs to get a CPAP machine, but he’s never gone and done it. 
Anyways, it’s so loud- how can a baby sleep through that? Anyone ever experience this? I want to keep the baby next to our bed during the first month when he’s going to be feeding a lot, but honestly, I don’t think it’s going to be possible with his extremely loud snoring/gasping (no exaggeration either...it’s that bad). I’m tired. 
Ugh. Help. Can a baby sleep through that?

Baby might be able to sleep with it. The only sounds baby knows when it’s born are the sounds it heard in the womb and your baby might surprisingly find comfort in continuing to hear his snoring.
But my husband snores and being this pregnant I’m ready to kill him haha

Sooo turns out end of pregnancy has made me the snorer. I can’t stop and husband can’t sleep. I try to wait till he falls asleep first but that’s usually impossible, he take forever to fall asleep and I swear I must be narcoleptic. Haha. He videotaped me snoring and it sounds like a frighten train!!!! I sleep most the time on the couch for his sake. Any suggestions on how to quit stop snoring at this point? I’m hoping it goes back to normal after baby is here because I never used to snore before this. :S

My husband is the same and our 2 year old still sleeps in our room with us. His snoring and gasping for air has never been an issue for her, she sleeps through it no worries. Shes just used to it i guess, like i am

I think it's likely your little one will sleep through it. It's just going to be white noise to the baby. Also, this may not apply to all models, but my father has sleep apnea and his machine is loud--like a basic baby white noise machine on full blast (which I recommend for a white noise machine because it helps them sleep and helps muffle your own noise to avoid waking them).
If he needs it for sleep apnea then I seriously recommend he get that taken care of for his sake. He'll be amazed at how much more rested he feels sleeping with the machine and you'll sleep better with the steady machine white noise over loud, broken snoring.

YES ! My husband was scheduled to do a sleep study but skipped it. 
I am sleeping with ear plugs because I can’t sleep at night because of it. We will have to figure something out when the baby gets here.

My husband is the WORST. I sleep with ear plugs and we sleep head to toe, because of not, the snoring is right in my face. We kept our daughter in our room the first few months and she slept fine! I’m not sure how she would do now—when we travel, we usually get an air bnb with a separate room,  but newborns can usually sleep through a lot. I had white noise on since birth as well.

My husband snores, talks, grinds his teeth loud af, moans. He's seriously the worst person to sleep next to. But baby slept fine. Then baby turned into toddler who climbed into our bed and still slept fine. They get used to it. We kept him out in the living room for naps and were never quiet. He learned to sleep through anything.
