So... I just got out of a very toxic situationship of two years about three months ago. In the process I met another guy. We had met in passing over a year ago but never really spoke to each other. During the time that I ended things with my last guy, he was there wanting to get to know me as a friend. We happened to have each other on Instagram but never really liked each other’s posts. A few days before my 22nd Birthday, he hit me up. We begin to compare our lives and surprisingly we had so much in common. He was my comfort in the storm. Maybe two weeks go by and he tells me that he was scrolling on IG before he hit me up, never really liked any of my pictures, but this one picture popped up in his timeline, he told his brothers and friends that right then and there God told him that I would be his wife. He said after he left them, he got down on his knees and he prayed for me. Before he told me that, I had a dream of me walking down the aisle to him while he played the violin (he’s a violinist) 😍 I never told him about the dream, scared to put my feelings out there. God took us out of crappy situations and saved us for each other. After that, we haven’t gone a day without talking to each other. I don’t drive so he drives over an hour to come see me every week. In this small moment of time, God blessed me beyond anything I asked for. Every day, our feelings are getting stronger and stronger. We decided to better our spiritual lives together and become celibate until marriage. We have already spoken about marriage, babies and living together. We’re just waiting on the perfect timing.

My question is.. how soon after being with your guy did you guys get engaged or married?
