Did you take your SO to all your appointments?

I’m a FTM. do you take your SO to all ypur appointments? Or just your scan?

My husband works in the military and works away Monday - Friday. He was able to get the time off for all of my scans but not the midwife appointments. To be honest, the midwife appointments are pretty routine and check urine, blood pressure and take bloods if needed. They do listen to babies heartbeat but my midwife let me film that for the first time so I could send hubby the video! He was chuffed not to have missed that but isn’t bothered about not attending 🤷🏻‍♀️ He just asks me to let him know what they say when I have one.

Mines has just come to my scans :) 
The midwifes appointments are boring for me and I’m the one being asked all the questions 😂
My husbands works away during the week though so maybe if he was home he would just come along anyway but it doesn’t bother me that he doesn’t 😁

My oh only comes to the scans X he would just get bored otherwise listening to us talk about things he doesn't understand X I just relay the info in a way he can understand X I've said aslong as he's there for the birth that's the main thing xx

No, he came to the 1st 2 and said “I don’t really need to go to those so I?” 
They were boring for him (except the heartbeat but I recorded it for him) so I understood!

So far mines has come to all appointments, from now on I'll just leave him at home, I can see how bored he is, but he was the one who insisted on supporting me 🥰
Lucky they were on his days off. I have my 20 week scan tmrw, he will be there but that's it now until I give birth, I'm sure he is sick of the hospital already.

The first lot yes, so my booking appointment and my 12 week scan, we pid for an early gender scan at 16 weeks
- my hubby is now deployed until 3 weeks before I’m due and I’m currently 19 weeks

Mine came to scans, the first heart beat check with midwife and all appointments when I went overdue.

I only invite him to scans! The other stuff is pretty simple and quick so not really much point him being there, although like someone else said definitely take him to the first Doppler heartbeat appointment it’s lovely. Mine was at 25weeks, it’s different for others x
