Hi all! I have not started Clomid yet, it’s only in discussion. I have endometriosis and do not always ovulate. I have an ultrasound on Thursday to be sure I don’t have any cysts, and then we will be discussing the possible use from there.

I believe my days will be 3-7, and it will be 50mg without a trigger to start. Again, I don’t know all of the details yet as the doc and I will be going over options later.

I was doing some research and I saw a lot more people stating that they had twins without a trigger than those who had a trigger, but those who had triggers had more instances of singletons or 3-4! I also noticed the chances of multiples were higher with the lower dosages in comparison to 100-200mg. Especially when starting on days 2/3 instead of day 5. I know that can be skewed because it’s all online discussion, but I was curious if anyone here had multiples from Clomid, and whether they had a trigger injection or not to accompany. I’m just curious more or less for mental preparation. The idea of multiples is both scary and exciting, and I know it’s a possibility with any <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">fertility treatment</a>. 1 in every 20 with Clomid, according to studies that did not say whether a trigger was accompanying or not.

Thanks for taking the time to humor my curiosity. I’m trying to gather all of the information I can to mentally prepare for whichever direction my husband, doctor, and I decide to go! Also, if you have links to good studies from reputable/scholarly journals, that would be great! I’d love to read them to be as informed as possible! ❤️
