Crib co sleeper? Anyone ever done this?

I’m too nervous to co sleep (don’t trust my husband to not roll onto baby or baby to roll off the bed.) is this a good option? He will not sleep unless he’s being held or laying next to me in my bed.

I co slept with my son (2nd child). It was the best! I had a bassinet beside the bed, but most of the time I just cuddled my son next to me and slept with my back to my hubby to protect baby. It made breast feeding so easy. Just exposed my boob, turned my son on his side facing me, and he would latch on. Then we'd both go back to sleep.

How old is he? I used something similar to this...but she only fit in it until about 6 months. Chicco also makes a sleeper/bassinet that pushes right us to the edge of your bed that you don't have to like make on your own from a crib. It's called the "next to me crib".

I’ve heard they don’t work because the baby still feels separate but I’m tempted to try it myself.
