Is a Gel pedicure to much ??

I came to a new salon near my moms and the place was empty when I got there I asked for a pedicure that was $35 after the lady speaking to her husband she came up to me and told me it will be $50 for a gel pedicure is that too much ?? 
How much should I tip?

Gel pedicures usually cost between $40 and $80, so thats not a bad deal. I hope your nail technician does a good job. I'm always superstitious about "you get what you pay for" though so I hardly ever get my hair or nails done.

For just feet yea at least in my area it’s only 25 for gel hand or feet I don’t do gel feet just hands so total is 45 .

I would tip an extra $30 
Here it’s $130 for mani and pedi. When I get my hair done and a massage, along with mani and pedi, it’s $450 total. 
My spa has packages that you can do and I get my hair done every 8 weeks and my nails.

In California the most expensive state on earth , I’ve never paid more than $25 for a gel pedi with massage so yes I think you got ripped off. I always tip each person $4-$5 when I get my nails done cause I usually have 2 people working on me .
