Plugged duct what worked for you??UPDATE

I’ve read a lot of remedies but maybe you all have something I’ve not thought of. Lay it on me please!!!
UPDATE: we’ll yesterday evening I spiked a fever of 101.5 and headed to urgent care. She ordered me antibiotics so I’m starting that right away and fingers crossed. In SO much pain, headache, fever, aches and breast tenderness. Also trying: sunflower lecithin, dha, vibrator massage, pumping, warm compress, and making sure to nurse or pump at least every two hours for 10+ mins. It’s brutal and I can’t wait to feel better

Not sure if anyone else suggested get a comb next time your in the shower and gently ‘comb’ your boob downwards towards your nipple all the way round, it’s supposed to get right into the ducts and push the block out, it worked for me 👍🏻

The only thing that worked for me was taking a hot shower/bath and having my spouse compress my breast until it came out. They were able to get a better angle than I could on myself. It was a life saver!

I had my first one last week! My seatbelt rubbed it all the way home from work! Ugh. 
I put a hot towel on it for a few minutes and then let my LO go to town. Cleared it right up

I got mastitis with my first daughter, I did warm compresses and pumped/nursed often. It ended up coming out while pumping.

I got this a couple of times. This what I did and it work immediately every time:
Hot shower and massaged the breast. 
10/15 before pumping or feeding I put a heat pad over my breast and aggressively massage it towards my nipple. 
Then fed or pumped and continued to massage my breast toward my nipple. 
I did this multiple times a day. Usually unclogged it by the second round. It will still feel sore for a day or two but you’ll feel much better once it’s unclogged

I had my first one yesterday. I was freaking out bc I know how fast it can escalate to a full blown infection. As sleep deprived as I was I literally spent the ENTIRE night until the sun came up trying every darn thing they say to try for clogged ducts. Turns out from watching a YouTube video I actually had a milk blister and that’s why all the things weren’t working. A milk blister or “bleb” is a blockage of milk fat on the actual nipple. If you notice you have a white dot on your nipple that kind of looks like a white head from afar but not really a white head then this is your culprit. I took sharp tweezers and disinfected them in alcohol and the kept picking at this white dot on my nipple until it bust open and milk started squirting right out. I wish I had known this from the get go bc my nipples are so sore from all the compressions/massages/squeezing and worst yet none stop pumping on max speed all night 😩. But I’m just so happy I’m clear now.

I had one last week and literally tried everything: hand expressing in a hot shower, haakaa filled with Epsom salt, Epsom salt bath while hand expressing, baby nursing multiple ways... 
And the only thing that worked was using a vibrator while my baby ate 🤦🏼‍♀️. I’m embarrassed that I had to do it, but it freaking worked and I’m not IN PAIN anymore. Plus side is my 4 month old was thoroughly entertained by it. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Same started 2 days ago did hot shower and massage with frequent nursing, the pain is gone but that spot is still hard. Is it supposed to be so?
