My son is 16 days old and so far no gas issues.

Starting day 14 it’s like riiiiiiight before we go to bed and we’re after last feed before (my 3 hour) sleep (haha) my son goes into overdrive all fussy with what seems to be painful gas.

I burp him between breasts and have tried to gently rub his tummy as a preventative measure but it’s like this whole ordeal always happens before sleep.

It could be coincidence but in any case is there something I’m doing a feeds that might have changed that’s causing this?

Aren’t breastfed babies not supposed to be this gassy?

Is there something I’m eating?

Help!
