For those who have been: is Universal worth it?

I am planning a trip to Orlando. The main reason we are going is because of Disney World. I have been to Disney 3 times and loved it but never to Universal. I always hear conflicting feelings about universal, some people love it and even love it more than Disney while others can’t stand it and wish they hadn’t even gone. I like Harry Potter movies but I’m not a super fan or anything. What is your opinion?

Yes!! Universal was AWESOME. My husband and I went to disney a few years ago and universal last year- its better for adults too. So much fun we had a blast and went on every ride. We went during halloween horror nights too

I went to universal in CA, I felt like it was so disappointing but my friends liked it so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean I will always pick Disney world over universal. and I feel universal to be for much older kids 12+ or very adventurous. it's ride are definitely more intense.
I also feel Disney is more more organized so it's easier for me to plan with them. 
and I am definitely a giant Harry Potter fan and love it for those two areas, but I such a fan of the other areas too (other than the Simpsons land)
