Can anyone give me advice about colostrum and if it will run out before she’s here or will my body keep producing it? I pumped like for 5 min just to figure out my pump and was not expecting any to come out ? Lol

It will absolutely keep coming until 3-5 days after she is born when it turns to milk. It’s recommended not to use the pump while you’re still pregnant because it can cause contractions though :) your colostrum and milk is trigger by oxytocin which is being produced while you’re body is going through childbirth :)

Lol you won’t run out. Some care providers recommend storing pumped pregnancy colostrum Incase needed upon babies arrival. I had been leaking weeks before her arrival and due to a NICU stay wish I had pumped and stored some!

Also be careful about pumping because it could put you into labor
