Is there any risk in getting the MMR shot before 1st birthday?

With the current out break very close to home and my guy 3 months shy from his first birthday I really just want him vaccinated.

There's a delayed reaction to the MMR vaccine by two weeks.  My LO got it when she was one and two weeks later she had a fever for 3 days.  It wasn't terrible but it might be a worse reaction in a littler baby. Just try to keep them safe.. don't go out much until they've had the vaccine if it's really bad in your area?

The difference with MMR is that it's a live vaccine. So it carries a slightly higher risk of getting sick from the virus. So they need to have a decently established immune system before getting it. And currently in the US there is no separate measles vaccine. Just the MMR combination vaccine.

They won’t do it. If anything you might be able to get an emergency measles shot, but only if there’s an outbreak in your city, but not the MMR.
