From my understanding a sonogram on your heart and a stress test can show blockage. EKG only shows your heart beat rhythm

From the RN: and EKG shows a heart rhythm and is able to show abnormalities that can identify a potential blockage. If there is an elevated or depressed segment in a certain section of the rhythm, that sometimes means there might be a blockage, yes. To prove this, you would need to undergo an angiogram, which is a test where they insert a small catheter through your wrist or groin, and guide it towards your heart through the artery. Once there, they inject a radioactive dye that makes it able to see if there are any blockages in the arteries that feed the heart its blood. You would feel nothing of this btw, they give local anesthetic to the site and it's a very easy, fast and safe procedure. If you have any more questions shoot me a DM, I work in cardiology/ICU.

No an EKG just shows the rhythm of your heart beat. I believe an ultrasound would be the only way to definitively show a blockage.
