Hi, so I had no idea I was even pregnant. We aren’t trying. Here’s the scoop: missed a period, thought I was pregnant, took a test, and nothing came up.

I did see the faintest line but I ruled pregnancy out just because it was so faint. I started my period 2 days later. The period lasted 5 days. Wasn’t light just a normal period.

Fast forward to after period. I started spotting 3 days after my period and I’ve been spotting for about 5 days now... just brown until today and it’s like a light period at this point. So I said to myself “I’m going to go to the gyno and get on birth control because I’m having irregular periods I guess.” I had an extra pregnancy test so I took it this morning just to rule out anything (even though I just had a period) I didn’t want to be pregnant and then pay for nothing at the gynecologist just for her to tell me I’m pregnant. So.. I took the test....

BOOM! Pregnant. Lines are dark as hell! Believe me I was confused. Am I having a miscarriage or i mean... what’s going on!? I figure it is because I took a test, faint line, had a normal period, and now 5 days after period I’m spotting. Anything helps let me know your opinion please. It’s greatly appreciated!!!!!!

EDIT: no crazy clots or anything during period and this weird spotting episode either. Having light cramps but it’s not crazy. Regular period during early pregnancy maybe? Also if I’m having a miscarriage it’s okay. I wasn’t expecting to have a baby or trying so I’m not hurt by this or anything. I am just very confused.
