I’ve been using the clear blue advanced digital test for around 4 months now and have previously had no more than 4 flashing smileys. This month I’ve had 10 flashing and am losing the will! How accurate exactly is the test at detecting LH if testing only once per day? If the surge can last only a few hours - how can the clear blue tests be any more accurate than a normal OPK?

Also - they say to stop testing after 9 days of flashing smileys. But its perfectly normal to have a variation of up to 5 days in your menstrual cycle. So technically once reaching 9 days - it could mean you were on day 5 (if you had a longer (within normal) cycle that month)... so why don’t they account for that?
