Can't distinguish son's cries???

Is it bad that I can't distinguish my son's cries yet? He's 5 weeks old and I'm still like going down the list of feeding, diaper change, sleep and if he's still crying then... trying to figure out what else like burping and what not.

My daughter is two and I never figured her cries out. My youngest is two months and I still don't know why the hell she's crying either. It's whatever lol!

Dont be too hard on yourself. Hes still very young. My son only had 2 cries. A real one and a fake one lol. His real cries all sounded the same and i just had a routine when he cried. Check the diaper, change if needed, feed if hungry, burp, put to sleep if tired. And if he was still crying then id just sooth him and hold him and love on him and try to make him laugh 🤷‍♀️

It’s normal. My son is 7 weeks old and up until around 5-6 weeks the only things I could distinguish was his pain & sleep cry. All mammas go through this and the fact that you’re worried about it means your doing all you can.

I can’t either,  they all sound the same to me.  Although I have noticed the way he cries is different now.  He is six weeks old now.

Girl I didn’t figure it out until around 3 months old. Everyone made me feel like the worst mom for not knowing what he wanted. 🙄
