Creamy white discharge on birth control

I just started birth control 3 days ago and now I'm experiencing creamy white discharge. Is this normal?

Little back story, I was off birth control for two weeks (placebo week and what would be the first week of the next month of birth control) since I couldn't pay for it at that time. I did have withdrawal bleeding for a little longer, I'm guessing since I had to stop birth control until I could pay for it. I paid for it on Friday, the last day of my placebo pill, then when Monday rolled around, they said they won't ship it because the "payment didn't go through", but it showed it did. Got it sorted out and even though they are supposed to take two days to ship, it took 5. I got it Friday night and started taking them once they arrived. So technically I started after my "period". But now I'm getting creamy discharge, I didn't get that last time. What's going on?
