It is honestly up to you love. It is your life and not all women think the same. Some just want to tell didnt away and others (like me) would want to wait and surprise him with a test in a cute way. But if the pregnancy was wanted, I’m sure that the topic will come up pretty soon, or he will realize sooner or later. Like my husband realized that i was late on my second day! He sensed something and he even said last night, aren’t you supposed to be On haha! So you ought to hurry up is you want to make it a cute little surprise although I’m sure he will be happy either way, whether you come out bursting in excitement or play it cool for a few days until you got your surprise plan together lol.

My husband told me I was pregnant. I peed and left the bathroom to shuffle the laundry around and he comes yelling at me from across the house about a minute later. 😂

It's completely up to you. With my first pregnancy, I called him to tell him as I was in shock (we had only been together a year and had decided to let nature take its course as we both knew we had fertility problems from past traumas). 
Second I told him as I had gone to the doctors with severe pain and mild bleeding, but we had both had to prepare ourselves for the worst.
Third I called him at work as I was shaking after 4 years of trying! Unfortunately ended up ectopic needing surgical intervention. 
I personally told him as then we had each other, through the heartache of losing 2, we both kept each other strong. He felt the emotions with me. With our first that stuck, he was able to help me through the shock as he was feeling it too. 
Also I'm a crazy tester and I don't hide the fact of each time I've done it, he knows if it's positive I'll tell him lol.
Each to their own, but I suppose if you're doing a big surprise for him, wait until you feel ready 😊
