Colostrum has vitamin k, so the baby will get it. I found a study that even stated this. No one tells mothers about this. 
Too much vitamin k taxes the liver and baby's don't need a lot to begin with. If you let the blood drain into the baby, all of the stems will drain back with it and any damage incurred during delivery will be healed with those stem cells. That's what stem cells are for, repairing damage. 
Too much vitamin k inhibits that natural process. I also consumed a lot of vitamin k rich foods and herbs like alfalfa and nettle while pregnant, among other things. The type of vitamin k that you get in the oral stuff or the shot is just a chemical. Our bodies don't absorb synthetic vitamins (chemicals) well.
