Cousin bashed me for receiving child support

Hi all!

I just recently started getting child support for my son. My sons dad wanted me to get an abortion he wants nothing to do with my son. Doesn’t claim him. I filed for child support and he pays it he didn’t run he let me serve him. The only reason I put him on child support was because he had one year to terminate his rights and he didn’t. So I got tired. He ran from terminating his rights, wouldn’t sign off nothing. But for some reason he’s willing to pay child support.

My cousin just told me she thinks it’s wrong I put a man who made it clear from the beginning that he wanted no part in my child’s life pay child support. He has a valid point. If the roles were switched and he choose to keep the baby, I wouldn’t want child support....

Maybe I’m just emotional because it’s Mother Nature time. But does she have a point???
