Lesson learned!
I don’t have AC in my car and I live in Charleston SC.
It’s already hitting 90’s.
I got off work at 12. Went home and got ready for a baby shower, got back into my car, drove 30 mins to the baby shower and 30 mins back.
* keep in mind NO ac and it’s HOT
I’ve been on the go all day and haven’t had any water.
I get home, get a snack and head back out to my fiancé’s who I stay with over the weekdays.
And as soon as I get into his house I feel horrible.
I fall straight on the bed and I don’t move.
I have a headache, I’m dizzy, and I’m dry I can’t swallow good so I just lay in front of the fan.
My fiancé is a corpsman and so is his roommate so they get some medicine in me for my headache and hit me with a bunch of water bottles to get down so I sit up a little and do that. But my fiancé kept saying to his roommate how pale I was and clammy.
I couldn’t even get up guys. I’ve never experienced any type of heat exhaustion until today and I work outside a lot .
It took 3 BIG bottles of water, Tylenol, a huge damp towel my fiancé put on my back when I got here, and the fan, and 4 hours to feel better.
But I’m taking this heat serious now. It scared me pretty bad.
Stay cool out there ladies and stay hydrated 🌻
