Was your late MC completely unexpected?

When I say “late” I mean, after you’ve seen a heartbeat. 8-9 weeks and up. 
Was all the bloodwork good, heart rate, etc. and the loss was out of the blue? 
Or was something off at the appointment that suggested a possible loss?

Mine was at 12 weeks. My progesterone was severely low and they didn’t get me in until 10 weeks and at that point the pills didn’t help much. With my next pregnancy I call them when I found out at 3+4, I was in 4+5 and on progesterone that day to make sure my levels were good. Healthy baby boy born in March.

Mine had a great heartbeat, looked perfect all that. We went in for a 10 week ultrasound amd baby had stoped growing at 9 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I had no bleeding, cramping, anything. We went in thinking we would see our baby growing and was told we had lost it. My body gave me no sign it was happeneing. Had a D&C that afternoon because I couldn't deal with waiting for it to pass knowing it might not even with meds (doc said 50/50 the meds would work since my body didn't show mc signs). Worst feeling in the world when everything had gone perfect up to then. Had the tissue tested and it was genetic abnormalities that caused it to stop growing so made me feel like 1% better knowing it wasnt something I did.

I’ve had 3 miscarriages all after 9 weeks. Turns out I have PCOS and didn’t know, now I’m on a bunch of progesterone hoping that will do the trick. They had all healthy heartbeats and looked great.

I’ve had 2 losses. First one I started spotting light brown and it progressively got redder. I was supposed to be 11/12  weeks - baby stopped growing around 9 weeks. 2nd loss I went in for my 12 week appt and my midwife couldn’t find a heartbeat. Baby stopped growing around 9 weeks as well/ I got testing done and baby had Down syndrome.

Everything was fine up until 10+5. Had a bit of a back ache then spotting and it continued on from there.
