Bowel movements?

The last week or so I’ve been having a lot more BM than normal. Usually two a day and a lot of times it’s loose. Baby hasn’t dropped, dr just said a few days ago he was still laying sideways. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes my doctor said the further along we get we start having small contractions and it stimulates the rectum- Which causes more BMs. I’m 34 weeks along but have been having it for a couple of weeks now. I know some women are constipated so I guess I’d rather have this!

I don’t remember this happening during my first pregnancy. It wasn’t until real contractions actually started and I was in full blown labor that I kept going to the bathroom to poop. Maybe it means this little one won’t keep me waiting quite so long!
