Running distance
How did other moms adjust for running while pregnant? My pace has slowed (I could tell a difference back at 10 weeks, really), but do I need to adjust distances, too?
During my first pregnancy, my weekly long run was 4 miles and I kept up around 3.5 miles through 36 weeks or so (I was induced and delivered at 37). This time, however, I regularly run 6-6.5 miles for my long run. I’m 19 weeks and did 6.4 miles on Saturday. I hope I can keep it up over the summer.
How did you dial down the miles while pregnant? How long and how far did you go?
