Okay ladies, for serious question...has anyone else experienced a burning sensation, like feels like you’re on fire in your lower belly region?? I’m 35w4d and don’t ever remember experiencing this. Any thoughts...? I’ve included a picture to reference the spot in question. TIA for any input.

I have a burning feeling next to my belly button.   I had my 36 w appt today and the dr said when you feel burning that it’s your muscles stretching or you could’ve pulled a muscle since we are holding so much weight.  I’m SO much bigger this than than with my first so I’m sure it’s getting difficult to hold the weight

No burning but PAIN in that area! It’s horrible!

Yes! I explained to my husband a day or so ago about this. It wasn't a strain or round ligament pain but a really painful burning sensation. It lasted maybe 5 seconds or so. Scared the crap outta me. Thought maybe the placenta detached or something. I haven't had it again. Thank goodness. I have "lightning crotch" too but that was different. Same exact place you're pointing to. I'm 34 weeks.

No, I've been feeling pain and cramps, and like electric flash that hurts. And doctors told me is normal. When is your next appt with your oby?
