Do you think it’s important to wait

Question

Basically, everyone has their own idea and some people can get offended so please no hate for those who do wait and for those who don’t. 
But I was really wondering why you wait or why you don’t. 
When do you think it’s the right time to lose your virginity?
Is it good to save yourself for the right person?
Does have sex make you have a better relationship?
Does having sex with multiple people effect the way you feel?
Ex. More confident to less confident 
What should we encourage young women and men to do?
How old is too young? 
How old is too old?
Again please respect people’s opinions.

I absolutley dont think its in any way important to wait and virginity is a construct. 
I had sex for the first time at 15, i had no intentions to wait nor did i need or want my first time to be some sort of magical whatever. Never once regretted it.

We need to encourage people to make these decisions for themselves and that whatever THEY want is okay and that there is NO "youre suppised to do this and that and wait for this" no. Those things arent right for everyone. However someone feels about amsex is valid. What isnt valid is deciding those feelings for other people.

I’m not fond of the concept of virginity. I hope society moves on from over valuing it the way we do. 
People are better off waiting until they are ready for sex though. At minimum that should be the legal age for their area, but preferably 18+. 
There is no too old, provided all participating partners are consenting. 
How people feel about their number of partners is too individual to try and draw a general conclusion about. 
Sex typically strengthens already healthy adult romantic relationships, but it can also cause problems if a couple isn’t compatible, or is too immature. 
What we should teach teens about sex is absolutely everything we can. All of the facts. All of the realistic risks (without devolving into scare tactics). What consent means, including the right to always say no.

I think you should wait until you feel ready. Whether that be 15 or 25, it’s up to you.
I ended up waiting until I was 21. I had a long term boyfriend in high school, but he was never ready. After that, I didn’t want to lose it to someone random. 10 years later, I’m happily married to the guy who I lost it to. Mind you, I waited maybe a week before sleeping with him 😂

I do not like the idea of waiting until marriage personally. I do like the idea of waiting until one is of legal age and mature enough emotionally to handle it. After that it is a personal decision. As long as you are being safe... do what you want. (Legally of course) Wait, have lots of partners... it doesn’t matter. I wish society would stop shaming people based on there sexual choices.

Generally, when you’re able to, and do, legally consent and fully understand the laws in your area surrounding consent, how consent works, how babies are made for heterosexual relations, how to protect yourself, and what to do if your method(s) of protection fall through. 
I think I lost my virginity very young. I was 13. I wasn’t in love and I didn’t have some unrealistic expectation of the relationship between me and him. I understood the laws in my state and we used protection. I also made sure my partner was aware of and understood all of this. I don’t regret what I did in the slightest and I’m happy that I had the resources that I did to be able to protect myself. Obviously I wouldn’t set 13 as the ideal time for people to start having sex. I don’t think waiting until marriage is necessary. I don’t even intend on marrying, though that could change of course. If someone wants to wait for marriage then good for them. But it isn’t for me and I would say it probably isn’t for the overwhelming majority of people.

Waiting till marriage is what god intends .. if your a Christian that matters .. I didn’t wait and I regret it everyday . It would have been more special with the Man U walk down the isle with and the love of your life .. and also I don’t believe it makes the relationship stronger whatsoever everyone has sex now a days it’s so easy to obtain , and everyone breaks up and goes to someone else ! It’s very rare to see someone wait till marriage which makes it more special ! Also u would feel more connected and more in love with the one Man U marry than remembering anyone u ever been with and sometimes comparing .. if one was not as good as the other u can’t help but compare and be disappointed. And it hurts ur relationship. If I could I would wait ! But it’s ur choice god bless

I think everyone is different. I didn’t want that “I’m in love” first time. I never cared about that. I never cared about wanting to be a certain age. I just cared if it was consensual and safe. I had sex for the first time at 16 with a guy I knew but didn’t love. Don’t regret it at all and I had a great time with him.

I had sex when I felt comfortable to: at 15. Sex is something I wanted to explore and experience with multiple people throughout my life - I knew I never wanted to wait until marriage at a very young age. It was fun, adventurous and I learned a lot about myself and my body.  I don’t regret sleeping with any of the people I have had sex with. I never related sex to love. I could very easily have sex with someone I met 30 minutes prior and never talk to them again. However, I do feel closer/intimate to my husband when we have sex. When we don’t have sex for long periods I think it’s not that important but when we go through periods of having sex a lot I do remember that it is quite important to me.
