Should I be worried?

Im 12weeks+2days pregnant and had a pap smear done yesterday, my boyfriend tried waking me up this morning by vigorously shaking me(i kno hes and idiot) i went to the bathroom and when i wiped i was spotting but the blood was pink-red and had some small clots, im not cramping but i do have some tightness in my lower belly i told my boyfriend and he said im overreacting, i put on a pad(i ran out of panty liners) so i could watch it...should i be concerned or am i just overreacting?
