hi guys. I’ve been on the pill since August. because of acne purposes, my dr prescribed me ortho tricyclen 28 & it seems to have been working great the last eight months or so.

however, ive been having extreme bloating on and off for over a year now & i finally am seeing specialists for it. they believe it could be SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) and have prescribed me a 2 week dose of antibiotics.

I know antibiotics interfere with the pills effectiveness in preventing pregnancy, but i was wondering if anyone knows how it will effect my acne? will the pill stop being effective in that way as well??
