Why do we have to wait?

I am just curious why do we have to wait 8 weeks to get cleared to workout? For a c section? I feel perfectly fine? Why can’t I atleast do arm and upper body workouts or do yoga or pilates or something?!? I feel like I’m just getting bigger and bigger?!? I worked out almost everyday of my pregnancy and now nothing!!! I know my abdomen is weak or takes awhile to heal from what I’ve read but ugh I gotta do something!!!!
