No heartbeat on first doctor visit

I went for my first ultrasound and they couldn't find a heartbeat. They have told me that it's possible I miscarried or that it's too early. I'm freaking out like crazy and this wait game makes me feel defeated. ☹😥😥😥😥 The doctor says she "suspects" a miscarriage but I haven't had ANY symptoms of it. Idk what to think.
