“Lightening crotch “ ???

I’m 18 +5 weeks last night I started getting sharp pain in my vagina area that comes and goes . So to google I went and found lightening crotch , anyone else experience this or ever heard of this ?

Yes! With my first it didn’t start until the 3rd trimester. This pregnancy: 14 weeks. Good times! 😉

So I saw on another post on here it can occur from how the baby is positioned and moving? Like the baby kicking the cervix...I had some vaginal pain a few weeks ago but that’s it. I cramp almost everyday though. My baby is currently positioned with his/her feet kicking my cervix constantly. In my ultrasound last week it was doing it the entire time lol my doctor didn’t say anything about it though, she was happy to see the baby being active

I don’t remember getting it my first time until later but I’ve had it happen a few times in the past few weeks. I’m now 19 and 1 day and it’s become slowly more consistent.
