My daughter is almost 2 and she stays at home with me while I work a telecommute job. I have heard from several different people now about the dangers of her not being “socialized”, by parents who have their kids in daycare. Maybe they are just trying to justify their reasoning for daycare? Whatever the reason, they’ve gotten into my head about socialization. I don’t feel my daughter has a problem with this. When she’s around other kids, she shares well and is happy to play with them. But all of this has me questioning if maybe I should put her in 2 days a week to be “socialized”. 😩
