Did you kiss your kids on the lips when they were babies (a year and under)

I seen a post where a bunch of women were saying how it’s nasty to kiss a baby on the lips and I just don’t understand how? It’s a baby...

It's my baby and I'll kiss her if i want to. In all seriousness i struggled to get to 32 weeks with my beautiful double rainbow. If anyone has a problem with me kissing my babies they can shove it 🤷‍♀️

It’s because a lot of parents are concerned about passing germs. But I do it, mainly because at a certain age they start to want to ‘kiss’ you (usually with a slobbery mouth, wide open with their tongue out!), so it’s more that I let him ‘kiss’ me. 
I personally think sheltering babies from germs does more harm than good, so if my bub wants to kiss me on the lips, I’ll let him 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wouldnt say its nasty but kissing kids on the lips regardless of age creeps me out. I certainly wont be doing it to mine but to each their own.

I always thought it was weird seeing parents kiss their kids on the mouth.... Buuuut once i had my daughter things changed! When she was around 7months,  i just wanted to smother her with love. Once she turned like 1 and a half i stopped. Shes 3 now. I give her millions of kisses on her whole face! Her cheeks, her nose, forehead and chin! Just not on the lips. She loves the affection. At the end of the day, your baby is your baby.

Only my kids. I don’t kiss anyone else’s baby at all.  I kiss my 2 yo son on the lips but my 4 month old daughter on the cheek. Just because my son does duck lips lol once my daughter starts doing that then I’ll probably kiss her too

I’m the only one who kisses my son on the lips and I love it. Pre baby I never thought I would, but now I’ve been doing it since the day he was born. It’s not gross when you’re their mama!

I know I love it that my first kiss on the lips was with my first bf who I loved. Yeah I love my parents but I didn't want a kiss on the lips from them. I have cheeks, fire head, hands, kiss there. Lol. I think I won't kiss my baby on the lips either. They should choose who they kiss first. But that is my opinion. A lip kiss is like the other person is kissing u back same time n this is STH my child should choose to do.
