Ringing ears

I developed constant ringing in my ears at 37 weeks. I was referred to an ent and he said it’s from me having gestational hypertension (which I got about the same time the ringing started) and my hormones and said it’ll go away after she’s born. Tomorrow I’ll be 3 weeks postpartum and it’s still here. Has anybody else experienced this? I’ve read nothing but horror stories about people having it for life (due to other reasons) and I’m terrified. ):
