 I've been to friends houses though and thats just what they had because it's what they could afford for the time being

I dated a guy with a mattress on the floor and it didn’t phase me. But this mess would be a no-go. A person can be struggling financially or not have a bed frame but still be hygienic and clean. And have sheets.

sorry but I've been in an apartment that looked like this. mattress on the floor, no sheets, disgusting stains and mess. trash everywhere. 
I was there cleaning, it belonged to a mom and her two daughters who where being into foster care because mom was a junkie and an alcoholic. 
so for my date to bring me back to a place like this would be a HUGE red flag.

It’s not the mattress on the floor that’s a problem, it’s how disgusting and trashed the place is! The walls are filthy, there’s garbage everywhere... I’ll never understand how people aren’t just EMBARRASSED to have people come over and see that! 
I do think it’s weird when people are in their late 20’s+ with no bed frame, though. I know it’s not a priority but that’s a grown adult thing 😂

Eh that wouldn’t scare me off. I’m not big on interior decor and I’ve seen worse. Not everyone has money for perfect bedroom sets or cares

You know it reminds me of this famous person my husband and I moved. Well she is famous in Israel not so much in the US. My hubby is Israeli and was excited to move a famous person from his country. So we did a local move for her (have a moving company) and she lived on sunset blvd. in Hollywood and I’m pretty sure her rent was like 5k a month. But her place was the filthiest place I had ever saw. It was disgusting absolutely disgusting. She has money to and you would think they get a cleaning lady or something but no. She only had vodka in her fridge her bathroom, kitchen EVERYTHING looked like it never had been cleaned. My husband is a clean freak as am I and he was beyond disgusted. Also I might add she looks way better in her photos than in person. Photoshop does wonders for people.

Yeah that looks like a room where they smoke crack. I would make an excuse and leave. The filth I wouldn’t be able to handle and he fact it looks like a drug house.
