18 year old mother?

Hi guys, i’m only 18 years old but i really wanna have a baby. i’m the oldest of 5 siblings so i know how to play the mother role really well. I work and have my own car. working on an apartment. i guess my question is, do you guys think i’m too young? am i dumb for wanting this right now? i just can’t help this feeling.

Let me just say that being a sibling and playing the “mother role” is soooo very completely different than actually being a mom. And nobody can tell you what to do, you are legally an adult but I would say wait. Wait until you are financially settled and have your own home and make sure you’re with a man that you are prepared to take this step with and love.

I think you should just enjoy life right now, especially a life where you’re living on your own without a large family around. Cross the baby bridge when you’re a little older ❤️

I am the oldest of 5 children as well. I was married young @ 20 & had our first son right before my 21st birthday. 
I’m now 31, and we have 3 three boys. 
You are very young. 21 was very young. I will never regret any of my children but with that said I wouldn’t jump into motherhood until your a little older. 
Before I became a mom even with helping my parents out with my siblings I honestly only pictured the fun it would be to be a mom, but there’s more to it for sure. 
Being a mom is very different than just being the older sibling. It does help equip you for your own for sure, but motherhood is a whole other ballgame and it’s not always a walk in the park. It’s a blessing for sure, but it’s a lot of work and your young yet.
