How can i meet friends??

Question

I've always stook to myself. It seems like everything I say is right. Yet I have a hard time communicating or adapting to people. My family says I'm a outcast. That I "CHOOSE" to be that way. I've a short ass temper when people don't understand me. Oh! Did i tell y'all I suffer with communication skills? Why am I being punished for not being around people. Am I the only female that has this problem? If not.... Please share your story.

I’m like this at times. I’ve “x’d” out people this year, since it’s my senior year. Some stay as some don’t. I’m quiet at times, but really outgoing too. So, I like having a little fun. Just try putting yourself out there a little more! 
I met someone new today! She’s got the same major as me for college upcoming! :)

All throughout high school, I was kind of a loner. I didn’t have a short temper with people, but I just didn’t fit in, couldn’t relate. So I quit trying. But it was so gosh darn lonely, that by the time I was going into college I’d had enough. I didn’t want to be lonely anymore. So when I started college I literally had to force myself to smile and say hi to the people around me. It was really uncomfortable at first because I have a lot of social anxiety... but once there were a couple people that started having conversations with me, it was so worth it! I met some great friends when I just started putting myself out there and being friendly. I don’t know your circumstances, but I believe you can find friends too!
