Today is my daughters birthday and it’s almost 10pm and NOT 1 of my parents called or text her happy birthday! She is 12 yrs old and she has her own phone and they both have her number but nothing at all, my husband and sister say I’m kinda over reacting cuz I kinda expected this but how can a grandparent just not fall or text at least to say something she is their first grandchild and that, my brother hasn’t either but he never texts anyone really happy birthday but he worked all last night and had to sleep all day in order to go to work so I understand if it slipped his mind too but come on my parents where there the day she was born we lived with them u til she was 6 months old and she always went over there to spend time with my little sister who’s younger then her (my sister is 4.5 months younger then my daughter) so it’s not like they never got to see her and if should have slipped their minds.

Sorry I had to get it off of my chest it’s just bothering me a lot and upsets me not know if it makes my daughter wonder if they just forgot about her today.
