Vitex???

So I’ve been ttc for 2 years and heard that Vitex helps with fertility, has anyone tried it? Did it help you conceive?!

I started taking vitex and didn't notice much of a difference. I had recently come off the depo injection and my periods were not returning no matter what we tried. I ended up continuing the vitex and adding in myo-inostiol and maca root and not only did I get my first period less than a week after but I also ovulated this cycle. If you do take Vitex and concieve they say not to stop it cold Turkey. Most say to wean yourself slowly off until the end of the first trimester because stopping cold Turkey can cause a drop in hormone levels and cause a miscarriage.

I took Vitex for two cycles but it didn’t work so I stopped using it and actually got pregnant the cycle i stopped haha

I took Chaste Tree (vitex chasteberry) about a year ago as a supplement and it did help me with getting my period kick-started and helping with hormone control. Of course, I'm still not pregnant, so I'm not sure about help with ovulation/conceiving. However, I do know that for me, it helped with shortening my cycle length from 8+ months down to every 45-100 days. Still irregular, but better.
