Is there such a thing as the best age gap between kids?

No. It’s just whenever you’re ready. My son will be 3 just 2 months after I have the baby.

Any age will be amazing! Siblings are just fabulous and I think they will adore each other no matter what. We got pregnant with #2 earlier than we planned but I wouldn’t change a thing. My girls are 20 months apart and I LOVE their closeness but I don’t think the bond would be any weaker if there was a closer or larger age gap.

We planned for 18 mo-2 yrs apart... that didn’t happen because of bc failure my girls birthdays are 5 days apart. So for 5 days I had two 1 yr olds this year. It’s insane some days and never would’ve thought I’d have kids that close but now that they’re 1 & 2 I love it, #3 will be 18 months younger than #2... I will probably have zero sanity for a really long time but I love it all the same lol

I don't plan on trying for baby #2 until the first is potty trained and possibly in preschool.

Whenever you are ready! Our 1st son will be 2 next month and our 2nd son will be 4 months the end of this month
