Hi all! I am currently on no birth control and am thinking about getting an IUD. I am concerned because I don't like the side effects of hormones (the pill, nuvaring, etc). Will the IUD cause the same hormonal side effects? Like mood swings and decreased sex drive?

I tried it once before but only lasted 2 months and I can't remember anything besides a lot of pelvic pain.

I love being on nothing but my hubby and I hate condoms!! It's a crap shoot!
