How many weeks should you tell your family?
How many weeks should you announce your pregnancy on social media ?
How many weeks should you have a gender reveal?
How many weeks should you have your babyshower?
How many weeks should you take your maternity picture?
I was thinking I wanted to tell my family at 20 weeks, had a gender reveal at 23 weeks, have a babyshower at 30 weeks , and tell social media at 32 weeks ? did anyone do this ?
im just afraid of being excited with prior miscarriage so I feel I cant celebrate it how I want not knowing what can happen

Its all up to you.   I didnt tell family till about 16 weeks,  gender reveal was the same time I told family (didn't  want a party, just revealed)  baby shower I did pretty early because It was the best date to work with for me.

I told my family at 5 weeks, social media at 5 weeks, didn't have a gender reveal or maternity pictures and my baby shower was at 13 weeks because that's when I was back home (i live far from my family so it was just the most convenient then) but those things are all up to you! I just figured I would tell everyone super early so if I did miscarry I could get lots and lots of support.

My 'family' won't know, I don't have any desire for people who when when my parents died and I've needed them they haven't been there to experience in that joy. No doubt when it does happen, someone will tell them but they won't have any role in any child of mines life or mine sooooo. 
The important people in my life will know when I feel ready, probably around the first scan. As for baby showers the UK isn't really big on them like the USA is so it won't be a big deal. I'd still do some cute announcement for the pregnancy and gender though.

Told immediate family at 5 wks. Extended close family at 7 wks, work (HR and boss) 9wks, the world/FB 12 wks.  Had gender reveal at 21 wks, maternity photos at 30 wks and baby shower will be 32 wks.
